Launched in 2022 as an online service, RTL Today Radio has quickly established itself as a daily companion for Luxembourg's international community, offering a mix of music, news and content that reflects local life. This expansion comes just five months after its launch in DAB+, confirming the station's strong growth momentum.
"I am delighted to see RTL Today Radio move to FM. Since its online launch, we have built a station that reflects the energy and diversity of Luxembourg's international community, and its broadcast on 93.3 FM and DAB+ will make it easy for even more listeners to discover us in the car, at home or at work”, said David Gloesener, Head of Digital and Audio Products.
The switch to FM is a key step in supporting an international audience in a country that has more than 180 nationalities* and where 80% of residents aged 16 and over speak English**. It also makes it possible to supplement the existing DAB+ and digital coverage, and to improve the accessibility of the station, especially for listeners who do not yet have DAB+ in their vehicle. FM broadcasting thus facilitates listening in the car, at home or at work, while strengthening the station's reputation and proximity.

RTL Today Radio provides a rich and diversified programme. Musically, the station offers a balanced mix of recent hits, iconic tracks and new releases, with a focus on limiting repetition. It also pays particular attention to Luxembourg, supporting local artists, and regularly relaying national news.
Beyond music, the station offers content reflecting the different facets of daily life in Luxembourg. Programmes such as The Lisa Burke Show, Mom Life in Luxembourg podcast, Office Hours, or Letz Talk Sport address topics ranging from culture and family life to the world of business and sport. In the evening, the programme expands with dedicated formats: Louder for rock and metal, In Tune – produced in collaboration with the Philharmonie Luxembourg – for classical and world music, and New Noise for new releases and emerging artists.
From 5 May, RTL Today Radio will be available on:
• 93.3 FM
• DAB+
• Online and via the RTL Today, RTL Play, and Radioplayer apps
With this arrival on FM, RTL Today Radio establishes itself as an essential player in the English-speaking audio landscape in Luxembourg.
RTL Deutschlands Hit-Radio continues to broadcast on 97.0 FM, as well as on DAB+, cable, satellite, and app.
