The FLF has terminated Dan Santos’ contract with “immediate effect” following serious allegations regarding the national coach that were brought to the Board of Directors. In a press release, the Federation stated that Dan Santos had sent inappropriate messages to several players within the national selection.
The FLF emphasised that these actions occurred within a professional environment where the coach held a position of direct authority and responsibility, which goes against the values of the federation.
In response to an enquiry from RTL, the Luxembourg Football Federation said it would not be making any further statements on the case at this time. Dan Santos was contacted by the editorial team for comment but has not yet responded.
