Luxembourg's national football team will face the Squadra Azzurra in a friendly on 3 June, to the joy of the fans. Tickets to the match sold out in mere minutes after their release on Tuesday morning, the FLF revealed.
A pre-sale phase took place for people with subscriptions to the World Cup qualifier matches, before general sale launched at 10am on Tuesday. By 10.24am, the game had entirely sold out.
Would-be spectators should note that the ticket offices at the Stade de Luxembourg will therefore be closed on 3 June.
