Luxembourg midfielder Leandro Barreiro is facing an extended spell on the sidelines after sustaining a thigh injury, Portuguese daily Record has reported.
The injury could keep the national team player out of action until the start of January 2027.
As a result, Barreiro is set to miss the Red Lions’ final two Nations League matches. Luxembourg will host Estonia on 13 November, before travelling to Iceland three days later.
