After the first day, the Luxembourgish team was already leading the game thanks to two victories by Alex Knaff and Chris Rodesch, with 2:0 against New Zealand.

However, on Saturday night the FLT team had to submit to the New Zealand team in the doubles competition. Chris Rodesch also lost his one-on-one, but then Alex Knaff won against his competition twice, resulting in 3:2 in favour of Luxembourg.
