Job Description
In this role, you will provide operational support to both local and global EHS teams while working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and support functions. You will contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety programs and policies, while helping to foster a strong safety culture, support operational excellence, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
This position is based at our European Headquarters in Dudelange, Luxembourg, and reports directly to the EHS Manager.
Responsibilities
Build strong working relationships with employees, supervisors, and managers to promote a positive and proactive safety culture
Maintain a strong presence within manufacturing and operational areas to identify risks, engage employees, and support safe working practices
Support and drive EHS improvement projects, wellness initiatives, and innovative solutions that enhance safety performance, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness
Lead or support incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Manage internal and external accident reporting, including communication with AAA and other relevant stakeholders
Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety observations, and ensure timely completion of identified corrective actions
Support compliance with local EHS regulations, company standards, and internal procedures
Support and actively contribute to Management of Change (MoC) reviews by identifying EHS risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are implemented prior to change execution
Schedule, coordinate, and track EHS-related training activities
Organize and coordinate occupational health examinations and related activities
Support contractor and visitor safety programs and ensure compliance with site requirements
Assist with emergency preparedness activities, drills, and related EHS initiatives
Support internal audits, external inspections, and compliance assessments, and assist with the implementation of resulting actions
Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
1–2 years of experience in an EHS, engineering, manufacturing, or related environment
"Travailleur Désigné à la Sécurité" certification is considered an advantage
Foundational knowledge of EHS management systems, risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques and applicable regulations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate activities, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive and solution-oriented approach
Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and continuous improvement
Demonstrates curiosity, openness to feedback, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Fluent in English; German is required and French is considered an asset
