The University of Luxembourg is seeking to hire a Doctoral candidate within the Department of Engineering of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Markus Schäfer in the field of Civil Engineering.
Your role
We are offering an exciting PhD position within the European Eurostars project HySCom, focusing on the development of next-generation hybrid composite columns made of reinforced concrete and structural steel combined with SFRUHPC. The project is conducted in close collaboration with a leading German industrial partner in the field of composite structures, providing a unique opportunity to combine fundamental research with direct industrial application.

General information:
The yearly gross salary for every Doctoral researcher at the UL is EUR 41976 (full time).
