Emergency services12 injured in 5 incidents on Wednesday morning

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps reported no fewer than twelve people injured on Luxembourg's roads over the course of Wednesday morning.

Seven people suffered minor injuries in a collision involving three vehicles, which took place around 6.55am on Rue Jules Hemmer, Bascharage.

A second accident involving three cars took place on the CR1741 between Schrassig and Birelerhaff at around 7.15am. One person was reported with injuries as a result.

Two cars collided on the CR321 between Dahl and Goesdorf at 7.45am, leaving two people injured.

In Bonnevoie a lorry struck a car, injuring one, while in Differdange a pedestrian was knocked down by a car on Rue de la Montagne at around 9.15am - the second pedestrian incident to take place over the last 24 hours.

Finally, police reported a drink-driving incident on the N2 near Moutfort at 9pm on Thursday. The driver involved had their licence confiscated as a result.
