As of Monday, 12 mobile teams are passing by schools around Luxembourg to test between 500 and 600 students and teachers per day. The coordination team at the education ministry decides which school is next in line and requires a mobile unit.

This decision depends on the number of infections, for example if a student tests positive and his classmates have to go into quarantine, but none were in contact with other classes.

Students furthermore have the option to choose between a nose or mouth swab. Students and teachers all get their results simultaneously within 24 hours.
