
Shops, restaurants, cafés, open spaces, traffic and even streets were all subject to inspections. In 200 cases, people received either a warning, or were fined due to their behaviour.
The police has established that the majority of the population respects and follows the safety measures the virus has induced. However, it's under cover of darkness that people seem to congregate, in playgrounds, industrial or pedestrian zones.
Thus the police appeal to people, once again, to stay at home and minimise social contact in order protect themselves and others. Even if people choose to gather at someone's home, officers are able to intervene and issue fines.
They also want to remind people that the controls will continue to take place.
