In Rue des 3 Cantons in Dippach, a farmer died on his farm after an accident involving his tractor. The incident occurred at about 4.30pm.
The farmer was working in the barn when the dumper trailer attached to his tractor suddenly toppled over with out warning.
The reasons for why this happened are still unknown.
The man was crushed underneath the weight of the vehicle.
The Ettelbruck SAMU service rushed to the scene, but the 49-year-old farm owner unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
In Junglinster, a pedestrian was hit by a bus around 4pm and suffered minor injuries.
