The draft law temporarily derogates current rules and issues a number of delays in the energy and gas sectors.
The number of households waiting to be connected to the power supply are postponed until the end of the state of emergency, and the processes of installing smart gas meters has been deferred by a year.
Gas and energy supply guaranteed
The minister also assured deputies that a number of safety and hygiene measures would be put in place to keep workers safe. As such, a rotation system was set up to guarantee the maintenance of electricity and gas supplies.
