One person suffered critical injuries during the accident. Four ambulances were deployed, as well as a team of first responders.
The motorway had to be closed after the accident.
The accident has now been cleared. All lanes are open to traffic again.
Another accident took place on the CR164 between Mondercange and Foetz on Monday morning. One person was inured during the incident. Emergency services from Mondercange and Esch-sur-Alzette were called to the scene.
