After the storms comes the wind — so Meteolux announced this morning, placing a yellow alert for the entire country between 2pm and 8pm.

This is due to the strong winds expected in the afternoon, with gusts of up to 80 km/h expected.

Remember to clear your terraces, gardens, and other outdoor areas of anything that may be hanging or otherwise likely to take off into the skies.

Those of you who are scheduled to fly somewhere may also do well to check in with the airport in case of delays. Parts of France, the UK, Belgium, and Italy are also on alert.
