
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) grades leading companies of individual countries on environmental performance. ArcelorMittal scored best and achieved an A-. None of the 14 Luxembourg-based companies that included in the ranking achieved the highest possible score.
Aperam received a B, RTL Group a C, and SES a D. The average grade was D, which proves that there is still room for improvement. 9 companies received an F ("Fail") because they did not share data.
CDP collected data from over 8,000 companies worldwide to allow for greater transparency in terms of climate action. Only 179 companies received the highest possible score. Among them are Microsoft, Nestle, Sony, Lego, and L'Oréal.
