Camille Studer passed away at the age of 85 on Wednesday morning.
An apprentice confectioner in the 1950s, the former head of La Provençale had completed his apprenticeship with the famous confectioner Sprüngli in Zurich, where he created the "Luxemburgerli", a more refined version of the macaroon.
Camille Studer had also headed the hunters' federation, the FSHCL, for 20 years.
