It is unclear at this stage how the altercation started, but it occurred at a car park near Rue du Pont. Two young men attacked and injured the car driver and then escaped the scene.
Echternach police are now looking for more information on the identity of the attackers, which people should communicate via phone (+352 24472 1000) or via email (police.echternach@police.etat.lu).
Both men are about 20 years of age and around 175 centimetres tall. One had lighter skin, short and brown hair, a star tattoo on his right arm, as well as black clothes. The other one has been described as having darker skin, long and black curls, and a hoodie from a French football team.
