The motorist was driving from Altlinster towards the capital and crashed into guardrail in the area of the blue bridge going across the Langwies shopping area in Junglinster.

The car overturned as a result of the impact and remained upside on the road.

The crash has blocked off a good part of the road and traffic is becoming stationary. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

There is no word yet on the driver's condition.
