From now on, teachers will, for instance, be recruited at Bachelor level and enter an A2 career. Current lecturers will be reclassified to Group B1 or A2 respectively on 1 January 2023.
Previously, the Council of State had formally opposed an agreement negotiated between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the associations in summer 2021. However, the new draft does not change anything about the basis of the agreement.
