Veterans DayCeremony to mark Veterans Day at the American miltary cemetery
The American community in Luxembourg traditionally assembles at the cemetery in Hamm at 11am every 11 November to mark the occasion of the Armistice.
The 11 November is celebrated worldwide as Remembrance, or Veterans Day, to mark the Armistice signed between the Allied forces and Germany to end hostilities during the First World War.
The day also commemorates members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
