Emergency crews were called to three accidents, which left four people injured, and a fire in Niederpallen.

Just before 2pm on Monday, an accident took place on the A7 in the Mersch-Schoenfels tunnel, heading towards Luxembourg City. One car was involved and one person was injured, with emergency services from Mersch attending the scene.

Just after 3pm, a motorcyclist came off the bike in the Belair district of Luxembourg City, with two people hurt. Emergency services from the capital looked after them.

Another accident, also leaving one person injured, took place at 4.30pm on the CR123 between Essingen and Cruchten. Emergency services from Mersch, Nommern and Ettelbruck were called out.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) also reported a fire on Rue de Noerdange in Niederpallen, which broke out at 2pm.
