MPs in the Chamber conducted a series of alternations to the existing Covid restrictions on Thursday morning. The final vote took place at 2 pm on Thursday. All government parties voted in favour of the new law, which will come into effect from midnight tonight.
The opposition described the measures as incoherent, disproportionate and partially ineffective. The CSV abstained from the vote, while the other opposing parties voted against the bill.
A meeting will take place in a week to re-evaluate the situation, following the government's appeal for individual responsibility on 17 October.
