At around 11pm on Thursday, police were notified of a car in a ditch on Rue de Grunewald in Senningerberg. A patrol travelled to the scene and found the driver there, very intoxicated, but otherwise unharmed. Officers issued a provisional driving ban.
In the early hours of Friday morning, a police car was overtaken by a speeding vehicle on the A3 motorway towards France. Officers pulled the car over near Berchem services at 3.30am, where they made the driver take a breathalyser test. The test was positive and the driver had their licence confiscated as a result.
