The two suspects are aged 44 and 71 years old and reside in France. A European arrest warrant had been issued by the French judicial authorities of Coutances.
On Friday, the Luxembourg public prosecutor's office confirmed the suspects had been taken into custody by Luxembourg police. They are to be extradited to France in due course.
