The most serious incident occurred at 2.32pm on the CR358 between Keiwelbach and Reisdorf, where a head-on collision between two vehicles left six people injured. Emergency crews, including two units of the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) and rescue teams from the Ernz Valley municipality, Fels, Reisdorf, and Nordstad, were deployed to the scene.

Almost simultaneously with the CR358 crash, another accident occurred on the RN18 between Lentzweiler and Clervaux. Two vehicles were involved, and one person was injured. Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) teams from Wincrange and Clervaux attended the scene.

Earlier in the day, a person was injured in an accident on Rue de Munsbach in Niederanven. Emergency responders from Niederanven and Bettembourg assisted at the site.

Another collision between two cars on the A13 towards Schengen, between Ehlerange and Lankelz, left two people injured. Rescue teams from Esch-sur-Alzette and Sanem-Differdange were dispatched.

At 2.45pm, just before the French border on the A3, a motorcyclist fell, which resulted in a traffic jam up to 8km long. The rider was injured and treated by emergency crews from Dudelange and Bettembourg, as well as a SAMU team.

At around the same time, rescue teams from Echternach and Bollendorf, along with an Air Rescue helicopter, responded to an accident on Route de Diekirch in Weilerbach. The callout was for a person who had fallen off a scooter and sustained injuries.

The string of accidents continued. Shortly before 3pm, a collision between two cars on Route de Grundhof in Dillingen left three people injured. A large CGDIS deployment responded, including teams from Beaufort, Echternach, Nordstad, Echternacherbrück, and German emergency services from Neuerburg.

Finally, just after 3pm, a driver was injured on the CR122 between Blaschette and Lorentzweiler after crashing into a tree. Emergency services from Lintgen and Mersch provided assistance at the scene.
