From midnight on Friday, fuel prices in Luxembourg will change, with increases for diesel and heating oil but a drop in 98-octane petrol rates.

Starting at midnight on Friday, motorists in Luxembourg will see higher prices at the pump for both diesel and heating oil.

The price of diesel will rise by 3.6 cents, bringing the cost per litre to €1.889.

Heating oil will also become more expensive, with an increase of 3.8 cents per litre, making the new price €1.380 per litre.

However, not all fuel prices are on the rise. The price of 98-octane petrol, otherwise known as super unleaded, will decrease by 3.5 cents, with a new price of €1.903 per litre from Friday onwards.
