
The first accident of the evening happened around 6.40 pm between Goetzingen and Nospelt. A woman lost control over her car and crashed into a tree at the side of the road. She suffered light injuries and was brought to the hospital. Her license was revoked and she received a provisional driving ban.
A similar accident occurred in rue de Roeser in Bavigne. A man came off the road with his car and crashed into a tree. Despite the car being completely damaged, the driver managed to get out of the vehicle without any injuries. The police conducted an alcohol test, which came back positive. His license was revoked and he received a provisional driving ban.
Around 2.45 am on Monday morning, the police stopped a car on the A4 motorway near the Raemerich roundabout. Both the alcohol and drug flash tests came back positive. On top of that, the man was already serving a driving ban, violating the curfew, and trying to intimidate the officers. He was subsequently fined for all his infringements.
