Jamaican media outlets have reported the death of Marlon B., former member of the band Söhne Mannheims, who is believed to have been shot during an attack on a bar in Robin's Bay, located on Jamaica's north coast.
The incident reportedly took place in broad daylight on Wednesday. According to local reports, unidentified individuals drove up to the bar, entered the premises, and opened fire, killing three men aged 22, 42, and 60 before fleeing the scene. Among the victims was Marlon B. James, owner of the bar and best known as Marlon B.
On Thursday evening, the official Instagram page of Söhne Mannheims posted a tribute image of Marlon B. with the hashtag "RIP". Marlon B. was a member of Söhne Mannheims until 2017 and played a significant role in the success of their album Noiz. He also co-wrote the song Das hat die Welt noch nicht gesehen and performed the title track on the group's studio album Iz On.
