Two road accidents involving cars and cyclists occurred within ten minutes of each other on Thursday evening, according to the emergency services bulletin. The first collision took place at around 6.45pm on the main road in Ernster, where a car struck a cyclist. Rescue teams from Niederanven and an ambulance from Junglinster responded to the scene.
The second incident happened less than 10 minutes later in Ettelbruck, on Rue du Deich, again involving a car and a cyclist. Emergency services from the Nordstad region attended the scene.
In both cases, one person was injured and received medical attention.
