Fireworks light up Luxembourg City to bring Schueberfouer 2026 to a close
The traditional fireworks display at 10pm on Wednesday brought the curtain down on three weeks of the Schueberfouer on the Glacis.

At 10pm on Wednesday evening, the traditional firework spectacle started, lighting up the night sky with colour, officially marking the end of this year's edition of the Schueberfouer.

For three weeks, the Glacis in Luxembourg City saw tens of thousands of visitors make their way to the rides, spend time together, eat, and share drinks. Plenty of memories were made during this 684th edition which took place between 21 August and 9 September.

As is now tradition, the Schueberfouer wrapped up with a fireworks display over the Grande-Duchesse Charlotte bridge. Those who could not be in the capital to celebrate this year's closing were able to follow the fireworks live on RTL.lu.

For those who missed it, a photo gallery of the fireworks is available online, along with the replay of the live stream.
