A drunk pedestrian was hit by a driver on a zebra crossing Saturday night. The incident happened on rue de Bouillon in Hollerich.

Police arrived around 10.10pm and discovered that the pedestrian was very inebriated and injured on the leg, while the driver was driving without insurance and had his car seized as a consequence.

On Kirchberg, a drunk driver missed a traffic island on boulevard Prince Charles and subsequently crashed his car into a tree. When the police patrol arrived, the car was still there, but the driver had disappeared. He was found at home shortly after. He was not injured, but was found to be over the limit and had his license taken. In addition, his insurance was not up to date so he lost his car, too.

Finally, in Esch-sur-Alzette, another accident caused by a drunk driver. She drove through a hedge and over the sidewalk, where her car crashed into the wall of a front yard. Both her and her passenger were unharmed, but she lost her license for being considerably over the limit.
