A couple found themselves trapped in their home, as the rising waters of the Sûre had surrounded the home and prevented them from leaving the house.
The Reisdorf fire brigade, divers, and platoon leaders from the eastern region were all involved in the operation to evacuate the couple.
Using an inflatable boat, several teams of firefighters were successfully able to rescue the couple.
