At around 5.30pm, two vehicles collided on Route d’Echternach in Graulinster, though no injuries were reported. Emergency services from Junglinster and Larochette responded to the scene.
Shortly before 6pm, a car skidded in Septfontaines on Route d’Arlon, leaving one person injured. Rescue teams from Habscht and Mamer provided assistance. At 6.30pm on Grand Rue in Esch-sur-Alzette, another person was struck. Emergency responders from Esch as well as from Sanem-Differdange were dispatched to the scene.
A further collision involving two cars occurred shortly afterwards on the A4 motorway towards Luxembourg City, between the Croix de Cessange and Merl, resulting in two people being injured. Firefighters and ambulance services from Luxembourg City and Bettembourg were at the scene.
Finally, at 1.38am on Saturday, emergency teams from Beaufort, and again from Larochette, were called to another accident. A car had crashed on the CR121 between Müllerthal and Grundhof, leaving one person injured.
