The first collision occured at 6.20am on the A6 at the Cessange interchange towards Gasperich. One person was injured in the collision.
At around the same time, two cars were unable to avoid colliding on Rue de la Libération in Linger. Two people sustained injuries in the crash and were attended to by an ambulance from Pétange, firefighters from Bascharage, and police officers.
On the N11 between Gonderange and Waldhof, two cars collided at 8.30am, injuring one person in the process.
Finally, at 8.50am an accident occurred on the A7 between the Stafelter tunnel and Waldhof in the southbound direction. One person was injured in the collision.
