Bicycles were reported stolen at Place de la Gare, on Avenue Guillaume, and on Boulevard Royal. The one in Wiltz was stolen on Rue de la Fontaine.
The police also report of a mugging, which took place on Route de Thionville in Dudelange at three o’clock in the afternoon. Officers were however able to apprehend the thief thanks to a thorough description from the adolescent victim, and the stolen phone could be returned to its rightful owner.
A drink driver was involved in an accident on Monday night as he grazed a roadside tree between Kehlen and Mamer and ended up in a nearby field. He suffered light injuries in the process and was subjected to an alcohol test, which came back positive. Police revoked his license.
