The first accident took place around 5.30pm, when several cars collided near Croix de Bettembourg on the A13 motorway. Two people suffered injuries.
This multi-vehicle crash was the second serious accident to occur on the A13 on Friday. That same morning, a crash between Petange and Altwies left two people severely injured.
The other crash occurred on the CR347 between Stegen and Schieren around 7pm. A car rammed into the crash barriers, injuring two.
