Google data centreFriday the last day for complaints to be made about general development plan

RTL Today
Friday 15 February marks the final day that complaints about the Google data centre general development plan can be submitted to the Bissen municipal authorities.

A recently-circulated citizens' initiative highlighted a number of issues that residents would like the authorities to answer about the data centre planned to be fifteen times the size of the Belle Etoile shopping centre.

The questions concern issues such as electricity use, funding, and the potential sealing of arable land.

Any issues concerning environmental factors can still be communicated to the Ministry of the Environment until 2 March.
