All types of fuel are set to become more expensive at midnight on Tuesday, with prices rising by 3.7 cents at the most.

The cost of diesel will rise by 2.1 cents to cost a maximum price of €1.101 per litre.

As for 95 unleaded octane petrol, prices will rise by 2.7 cents to cost a maximum of €1.165 per litre. 98 unleaded octane petrol will be hit by the most significant price hike (3.7 cents) to €1.259 per litre.

The price increase will also affect heating oil: sulphur-free oil (10 ppm) will rise by 2.5 cents to €0.644. Two-stroke mix will rise by 3.7 cents to €1.782 per litre.

Finally, natural gas will also be more expensive, costing €0.771 per kilogram with a 1.5 cent rise.
