In May 2011, a man demanded to be promoted to the 13th grade of "inspecteur principal 1er en rang" (rank of chief inspector) just like other administrative officers at the same point in their careers.
The administrative tribunal recognised the recourse of a man against a grand ducal decree from September 2018 as justified.
The case will now go back to the Grand Duke for reconsideration.
