Emergency servicesHouse destroyed by fire in Ersange

RTL Today
On Saturday afternoon, firefighters were called to attend to a fire in Ersange.

According to RTL's sources, the fire started in the roof truss before spreading to the rest of the house. Four fire brigades, from Remich, Moutfort, Hesperange, and Roeser, were deployed to extinguish the blaze, under the command of Luxembourg City's firefighters.

Whilst there were no injuries, the house suffered serious material damage. It is likely that the building will be uninhabitable in the foreseeable future.

The fire and the rescue works impacted traffic in the area during the late afternoon and early evening of Saturday.
