The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CDGIS) reported the incident and firefighters were dispatched to the scene immediately.
The second floor of the house was completely filled with smoke. The fire spread from a mattress that had caught on fire.
Due to the fast response of the firefighters the fire did not spread to the roof. The CGDIS reported one victim with possible smoke poisoning. They were brought in to the hospital.
