Officers inspected six trains hailing from Rodange at Hollerich station, where they identified two culprits with the help of a sniffer dog. A complaint was filed against the two perpetrators. Another person was found to be in the country illegally.
At the main train station in Luxembourg City, police arrested a suspected drug dealer, whose suspicious behaviour attracted officers’ attention. He was caught throwing away 44 drug packets. Officers also confiscated a cash sum of €358 and a mobile phone. The public prosecutor ordered the man’s arrest and he was taken into custody following a hearing in front of magistrates on Wednesday morning.
