The two sergeants were given their last moment of honour at a military service (cérémonie militaire d'adieu) in Diekirch.
Present at the ceremony were the Grand Duke, Prince Sébastien, Minister of Defence Francois Bausch, members of the army, and finally, the family of the deceased.
The two men died during a tragic incident in which a bomb exploded at the weapons depot in Waldhof.
