In recent days, secondary schools across the country were targeted by a phishing attack. Numerous pupils received emails directing them to a false version of the education.lu website, where they were told to input their usernames and passwords. The scam sought to steal user data and personal information.

According to RTL sources, both students and parents have been informed of the phishing attack and have been advised to change their IAM passwords as soon as possible. This must be done by 4pm on Friday. Anyone who has not updated their password will be encouraged to do so when trying to log into the site.

In the Chamber of Deputies, the Greens have submitted an urgent parliamentary question to the government seeking explanations.
