
Placing 11th internationally and 10th in Europe, Luxembourg scores well in comparison with neighbours France and Belgium, although a fair way behind Germany.
The EF English Proficiency Index's new study states that the Grand Duchy has a 'very good understanding' of English and totals 610 points in their rating.

Despite having fallen out of the Top Ten, Luxembourg still enjoys a fine reputation in terms of the use and understanding of the English language.
The Netherlands, Denmark and Finland top the tree with Germany in at 8 and Belgium at 9. France places some way back in the top 30 at number 28.
