Led by Swedish teenage activist Greta Thunberg, youngsters from the "Rise for Climate" initiative from France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and, last but not least, Luxembourg found their way into the French capital to protest for climate action.

"Rise for climate" is an international climate action organisation active in 95 countries, including the Grand Duchy.

More generally, school pupils have been regularly protesting climate inaction for the past few weeks. This initiative was also kicked off by Thunberg.
