Police were alerted on Tuesday night to an injured man in Bonnevoie. Officers arrived on Rue de Bonnevoie shortly after 11pm, where they found a man lying on the ground with a bleeding head wound.
According to initial information, the suspected attacker was still present when police arrived. The suspect is believed to have struck the victim multiple times.
Both men were reportedly intoxicated. The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment, while the alleged perpetrator was arrested at the scene. He was brought before an examining magistrate on Wednesday afternoon.
