On Friday, the emergency services and the police were despatched to the Upper Sûre Lake to deal with the incident.
The accident occurred on a beach in Lultzhausen shortly after 4pm. Rescue services used a boat to evacuate the man. He was hospitalised but did not suffer any serious injuries.
