According to the police bulletin, an incident in Mondorf-les-Bains ocurred on Monday, around 4.50pm. It began with a dispute in traffic that later continued outside a café. Those involved began hitting each other, at which point one of them pulled out a box cutter and injured two others with it.
The suspect then fled on foot across the border into France but was apprehended by police shortly afterwards.
The two injured people were taken to hospital. According to police, neither suffered life-threatening injuries. The box cutter and other evidence were seized, and an official report was filed.
Later that same evening, police were alerted to another violent incident at Place de Paris in Luxembourg City, where a man struck a woman in the face. She fell to the ground, injuring her face and arms. Police officers subsequently stopped the fleeing suspect and placed him under arrest.
