
A motorcyclist suffered serous injuries as a result of a crash in Bissen on Saturday night at 8.30 pm. The man was driving along Grand-Rue and tried to turn right onto Rue de la Laiterie, when he crashed into a car that was trying to exit the road. The motorcyclist required emergency surgery.
The police also had to deal with a number of drunk drivers that night.
Shortly after 1.00 am, police singled out a driver between Reichlange and Everlange, due to the way they were driving. The driving license was confiscated.
About an hour later, a motorist was caught in Esch. In this case, the man had had too much to drink and was already banned from driving, so he was fined.
Just before 5.00 am, a motorist was taken aside in Dudelange. He was drunk and has now lost his license.
